Today’s Artist Lineup:

Mightier Than Me- OLE
Greensboro, North Carolina band Mightier than Me releases “O.L.E.” , a song that brought their band together. The song is about the longing and desperation that is familiar to anyone who has ever been in a long-distance relationship. Our new EP is a raw entity of us exposing our guts. It’s passionate, vulnerable, and genuine. The sound is fueled by our love for 90’s music, punk rock, and cool effects. We have learned that resilience and patience can turn struggles into triumphs. Staying positive is sometimes a struggle, so we take solace in the small things, like hearing from a new fan or booking a show at a new venue.

Ember Atom – What you came for
Jeff Watson and Ember Atom have come flying out of Canada to make a global impact with their lead single “What You Came For”, off the upcoming POP/ROCKSTAR Album slated for release in early 2017. He has been building this anthemic and emotive explosion of music, working with THE WORLD RENOWN Maurizio “Irko” Sera in LA (see Jay-Z, J-Lo, PitBull and more), hitting just about every corner of the genre spectrum and delivering a new take on what Indie Rock/Alt Pop can be. A reckless vagabond, with a F*#& the world mentality, and anathema to your standard Pop Star; Jeff Watson and Ember Atom are paving their own way in the world, where they are going, they don’t need roads. Get on board or get left behind, music is an evolution game.

Dylan Swinson – Confessions of a Wannabe Dream Brother
Songwriter in Charleston, South Carolina. This song is what I strive to have more songs about, straight from my heart and where I am ok to open myself and be vulnerable with the words I write. It is a soft rock/alt rock type ballad that is constantly building, which pays homage to one of my biggest inspirations. Next to Playing for Keeps, I feel that this is my best song yet.

LUPER DUPREE – “Boom”
Southern california songwriter releases ‘Boom’ fast becoming a fan favorite. Along with ‘Take Me There’ it generally seems to be the song that fans feel is the best on the album, although people compliment the album from top to bottom. ‘Boom’ is definitely the signature sound of LUPER DUPREE combining elements of Indiepop, hard rock, and psychedelia with banging drums! I intentionally tried to write the most rocking happy fun song I could when it came to ‘Boom’ and something both males and females could relate to on a universal level. It’s that feeling a boy or girl gets when an attractive girl walks into the room, club, or show, and it makes everyone turn their head and notice and wonder if they might have a chance to know her, talk to her, or perhaps even more.

Dustinn Lowry- “Little things”
Nashville Songwriter, Dustinn Lowry releases “Little Things”, a song about a guy who wants to be back with his x-girlfriend, because he can’t stop thinking about all the wonderful little things about her and their relationship that he took for granted. He misses her and all the little things he took for granted so much he’d be willing to go through all the  bad again just to be back with her. Little Things is Dustinn Lowry’s second single off his debut EP release.

Roddan Music – I can’t see
Washington state songwriter who’s songs keep popping up on our Top 10. Listeners can expect a wide range of genres and musical influences from the album. Singer-Songwriter, Blues, Country, Pop, Southern Rock, Americana, and World music. From the very beginning of writing this album, I feel very confident, that the lyrics are the album’s greatest strength. More specifically, the lyrics are very honest, and there is a song that most people of all ages can relate to.

Madisyn Elise – Toxic
At age twelve, Madisyn Elise wrote a powerful anti-bullying song called “Crazy, Crazy” after being harassed by peers at school.  The song was so well written and had such an impact on others that CNN and several national and international news stations ran Madisyn’s story. Not only does Madisyn Elise write about experiences that have affected her life, she writes about situations involving those close to her. In fact, “Toxic” was born out of a relationship involving a relative. Madisyn witnessed the unhealthy relationship of her relative and felt the need to express her concerns through her lyrics. “Toxic” is a beautifully written song and Madisyn’s amazing intonations and tone quality exudes real emotions and passion. The intro to the song is engaging and captivating. The rhythmic beat and electrifying guitar riffs definitely pull you in and make you want to hit repeat.

Voice Nation- Sacrifice
Oceanside, California hip hop artist questions myself as an artist in this single hitting our Top 10 hard for it’s heartfelt theme and expressive lyrics.  “I want to know if it wasn’t for the temptation of suicide always lingering in the back of my mind would I still have substance as an artist. Almost immediately you can see my thoughts stray and I go into defensive mode with the line “don’t mind me I’m” I am pushing people away, then I continue to say “lost in my thoughts, grab the bottle pour a shot” which is seeking self medication from alcohol. From there I use a little bit of word play, “stuck in a rut in my life I’m a knot. Not accepting of my fate.” I use the word knot symbolically to express how tied down I feel.”

Shay-D Kid – ‘Make Money’ is a ‘party’,
a ‘turn-up track’ that I wanted to have some fun with, get creative and do a little back and forth arrangement with my good friend Killah K who is featured in the song. The song also includes a theme somewhat representative of today’s rap market which is ‘all about the paper’ & ‘making money’. Not to mention it also allowed me to shift lanes a little and experiment with my style.
