Featured Today:

Rocky – Before I die
Alternative rock
Rocky is stepping out as a solo artist after signing with Zen Bulldog Entertainment, out of New York City, in early 2015. She has a revitalized sound and show. Under careful guidance from, attorney, Thomas Valentino and songwriter, Frankie Turner, Rocky’s new sound and show offers an edgy soulfulness with strong modern influences intertwined with legacy inspirations yet delivering each performance, whether in studio or on stage, as a completely original performance as she continues to grow and developing her unique style.

Mike Contoni – Misunderstood Blues
After the success with my first Blues song ‘Bottom of The Bottle Blues’ and the fun I had doing it, I’ve decided to add blues to the genres that I play. I write and sing all my own stuff in Country, Southern rock, easy listening, Americana and hopefully now the blues. That being said it is not traditional blues, but a mix of blues and all my genres. This song is about the girl leaving, probably because the guy is a musician and on the road too much,(been there done that) but he doesn’t know who really misunderstood the situation and the feelings.

Leather dust- Ride
Rock @leather_dust
Ride is about sex, drugs and rock and roll. It’s about being carefree and that feeling of indestructability when you’re young. That time of your life when you can just go out and hit the night head on to see what happens. We pride ourselves on our live show… and try to reflect the same vibe in the studio. We record live off the floor together as a band to retain as much of the live feel as possible. Ninety percent of our tunes start with a killer guitar riff from Paul (lead guitarist). From there we jam and build the song around the riff. Once we have the basic feel and structure complete, Pete (vocalist and bass) will bring in the lyrics and melody to compliment the music. We believe in letting the music speak and set the tone for the subject matter.

Inward of Eden – Judas Smile
Rock Music @InwardOfEden
Inward of Eden completed their debut album, Moments to Memories, in 2014 with Mike Dearing and Grammy nominated producer Travis Wyrick (10 years, POD, Pillar). Since then they have shared the bill with many big names including Trapt, 10 Years, Sevendust, Hot Action Cop, and The Veer Union.

Jess Weimer – Until you drop
Pop Music
Jess Weimer is a singer, songwriter, violinist, guitarist, occasional rapper, and traveler of the yellow brick road. She left her hometown of Wichita, Kansas to pursue her dreams in the wonderful city of Los Angeles. Her background ranges from a bluegrass-fiddle band, to musical theater, to chamber orchestra, to singing in the shower and/or studio. Jess’s inspirations vary from Ella Fitzgerald and Amy Winehouse to Lorde and Ingrid Michaelson. When she’s not making music, you can find her learning a new language, advocating for positivity and social justice, or following along with an aerobics workout video from the ’80’s. If you see a fiddler on the roof, it might be her.

Nex Chapta- Good Morning Rasta
Reggae @nexchaptamusic
Nex Chapta hails from the twin island country of Trinidad and Tobago. “Nex Chapta” symbolizes progressive change. It represents the beginning of another phase, a new movement and message. A stylistically unique reggae band from day one, the members of Nex Chapta have been been singing, performing and playing in sync as if they’d been together their entire musical careers; performing at a variety of venues, all the while recording new music.

CEEM – How To Be Loved
Pop Electronic @musicbyceem
After witnessing the Women’s March on January 21 2017 and the people that are supporting and spreading love, inspired me to write this song. It’s about hope, and not giving up, and we will continue to find strength as long as we have each other. There’s more than one way to show love to people, we all just have to pick a way and spread love and not give in to defeat!

Andy Bob Beaumont – Letters
Singersongwriter @hengoedygors
This song relates to the end of a 2 year relationship I had with a woman in the 1980s. She was younger than me, and quite jealous of my ex-wife, my previous girlfriends and my past life. Although a very loving person, she had been very unhappy in her own family life. She would often drink too much and then became aggressive and bitter. I tried to help her through her bad times, but one day, while I was out, she got drunk and opened my box of letters and cards that I had kept right from my teenage years. They were very precious to me. In a fit of drunken rage she burned them all on the fire. When I found out, I was so angry and devastated that it was the final straw – it had killed my love for her. I had to finish the relationship.

I wrote the song in 2014 and recorded it in a local studio. Working with a sax player (Matt Bicknell) and another musician and sound engineer, Simon Darvell, who added other instruments and produced the song, it was added to 10 other original songs and released on the album, “Shed Songs”, on the Turquoise Coal label in 2016.

Victoria Watts- Long way to go
Pop Music @Victoria_Watts1
Victoria was born and raised in San Diego, California. Coming from a musical family, Victoria had a love for music right from the very beginning. She began playing guitar at age twelve and started writing her own music shortly after. Victoria has since played in various venues on guitar, bass, drums, keys, and vocals, both as a solo performer and in bands of varying genres. In college, she moved to the east coast to attend the Contemporary Music Center, a by-invitation artist colony, at which she acquired further skills in live performance, studio work, and songwriting. After a stint in Nashville, Victoria is now a full time musician in Philadelphia, and performs both as a solo artist and as the front woman and multi-instrumentalist for the band Element K. Her passion for singing everything that she wants to say will drive her to write and perform music for as long as she is able.
