Matt Jaffe & The Distractions – Write A Song About Me
A 20 year old singer/songwriter from the San Francisco Bay Area. Matt was ‘discovered’ playing solo at an open mic by ex-Talking Head JERRY HARRISON, who has helped mentor and create Matt’s unique sound. In bringing the ambitions of the studio to rambunctious life onstage, Matt sought out the youthful rhythm section of ALEX COLTHARP and SAMMIE FISCHER to round out the Distractions. Together with acclaimed producer MATTHEW KING KAUFMAN (Jonathan Richman, Greg Kihn, The Rubinoos) and A&R vet MICHAEL CAPLAN they have released Matt’s first EP of original music – BLAST OFF – in April 2015.
Nick Merico – What You Gonna Say
Nick’s first public appearance was in his 5th grade chorus production. He was nervous but his teacher saw something special in Nick and gave him his first solo. After that performance Nick sang at every opportunity he had. He also began playing the piano, the guitar and writing his own music. In a very short period of time others began to take notice of Nick and he has since appeared on several TV networks such as ABC on Charlie’s Angels, Univision, AmericaTeVe, NBC and has been featured in national commercials and magazines. Nick has won quite a few singing competitions, in one receiving the largest number of votes in the history of the televised singing show. http://avaliveradio.tumblr.com/post/138885578252/what-you-gonna-say-nick-merico

Jillian Kohr – Free
I love to fish but I never catch anything. I love to tweet. I can’t live without Starbucks. I grew up listening to Rock N Roll and Blues music, but I have always loved the story line in Country music and what it stands for so my music naturally reflects all of that. I’m an animal lover, a true cowgirl- having owned cows, and I’ve been riding a horse for as long as I can remember. One of my favorite possessions is a picture of me holding an acoustic guitar in my grand dad’s lap when I was just three. It’s still my favorite instrument today! http://avaliveradio.tumblr.com/post/138885230727/free-jillian-kohr
Jenny Bracey – Take Me Home
A singer-song writer from the UK. She released her first totally acoustic album entitled ‘Wishing For October’ in 2013. And this song actually marks her first official music video released.
Jonny Zwiciel – Faith
Musical destiny had its roots in Jonny Zywiciel’s youngest years. He began banging on his family’s grand piano as soon as he learned how to walk, and would sit there for hours, captivated, creating melodies and singing along as best he could. He spent his youth listening to pop and rock music, which finally prompted him to pick up a guitar at age 13. He played in many different bands and acts throughout his middle and high school years, headlining the historic Bottom of the Hill club in San Francisco, The Starry Plough in Berkeley (where Journey got their start) while honing his skills as a guitarist and songwriter.
Diana Catherine – Sick of this town
Over the last 10+ years Diana has entertained people across Canada, the USA and Europe. She has graced every type of stage from coffee shops to large festivals. “I love to play my songs to anyone interested in connecting to the human experience” she explains, “I write from the heart and the feedback from my fans has been a great inspiration to me. I write about real life and people can connect to that in their own way.” http://avaliveradio.tumblr.com/post/138909406562/sick-of-this-town-diana-catherine
