Lowdown Drifters- Upriver
(country)

We are the Lowdown Drifters and the song End Up in a Song was written by John Cannon. The bio we would like included is: The Lowdown Drifters are a Country and Americana band from Stanwood, WA formed in 2015 based off of a love of honest and expressive songwriting with the goal of fostering and furthering the tradition of country music embodied by Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash. After spending time in other bands in the past, the members found the opportunity to join forces with the mission of infusing their varied musical influences with lyrics that spoke to their lives and dreams. End Up in A Song describes the experience of playing in band and the relationships that it develops and shapes.

Kenneth Apperson- Keep Dreaming
wrote this song sitting on top of my truck in the middle of a causeway (land bridge) in tampa bay. I was feeling a little heart break at the time. Girlfriend had just ended things between us and I wasn’t on board. I was so upset, I found myself dreaming about the two of us together and happy, only to wake up and have reality set in. the dreams were so vivid and all I wanted to do at the time was find some way to hang on to her, so I would immediately try to fall back asleep. I just wanted to keep dreaming about her and that is where the song idea came from. It was one of those songs that just pours out of you. I wrote the whole thing right there, start to finish, on the roof of my pick up.

Heather Kenney – Loved
(pop songwriter)
Heather Kenney grew up playing guitar and piano in North Carolina.  Pulling from influences like Melanie Safka, Led Zeppelin, Jewel, Alison Krauss and Keller Williams, Heather has developed an acoustic guitar-driven style that combines finger picking and rhythmic metal-pick strumming.  Her songs often have a folksy twist, inspired by bluegrass musicians like her grandfather, who taught her how to play her first song on guitar and how to pick a banjo.  As much as she enjoys playing music, Heather’s true love is songwriting.  There’s always another story to tell.
