Cassidy Bisher – Everything I Want
Alternative Rock/ Electronica
Semi-Finalist in the 2016 International Songwriting Competition. If Depeche Mode met Radiohead, Arcade Fire and Neil Young in a dark – ok, make that sun-splashed – alley you might end up with something that resonates like the infectious strains of Cassidy Bisher. Singer-guitarist Cassidy Bisher stands ready to change the very definition of alternative rock, with music that’s at once atmospheric, melodic and fiercely edgy. With his charismatic vocals, he’s refashioned rock and synth pop into accessible music aiming to infuse each song with “moments of strong emotions from the melodies that are sung,” continues Bisher, “Music transcends language so that always has to be number one.”
Ruby Roses – Keep the Magic
Indie Pop Rock
Ruby Roses is a five-piece, indie rock band with a pop mentality. The northern New Jersey-based group practices and records in a home studio around the corner from the middle school where four of the members met. The band is comprised of Evan Hooker (Vocals, Guitar), Andrew Giordano (Keys), Jon Bruno (Guitar), Matt Marrs (Guitar, Bass) and Brian Carlucci (Drums). In addition to drawing faithful crowds in their own Garden State at venues like The Crossroads and Union County’s annual MusicFest, Ruby Roses has also performed at several acclaimed New York City clubs, including The Knitting Factory, The National Underground, and The Parkside Lounge. Their music has been praised in publications and blog features such as Lamplighter Magazine, Rocksposure.com and The Wild Magazine. In 2009, their track “Good Company” became the first place winner for the month of November in the indie rock category of Ourstage—MTV’s online music competition—beating out nationwide artist submissions through unbiased voting.
Ryan Boyce- Salt
Folk Rock Americana/ Singer/Songwriter/Storyteller.
I’m just like anyone else. I work my ass off, pay bills, raise kids, and try to be a decent husband. When I can make the time, I write and create music, though I’m not a musician. I’m a story teller. I can’t even read music, nor do I have any idea of what keys and chords I’m playing. No lie. The Salt is basically my perspective on the times and present state of the human condition, on the whole. I just wanted to try to remind people to disconnect and try to remember how to be human and decent again. That’s about it.
My digital EP release, THE CRUCIBLE, is now streaming on reverbnation:
