The guitar riffs, the drum solos and the solid bass form a perfect melodic and original sound for lovers of great rock music.Stormclouds Songs, first work of Severed Stars, shows the energy and power of this upcoming band. The songwriting has been influenced primarily by underground American bands like Helmet, Far, Jawbox and Shiner, but offer a departure from their sound.

Good Luck Audrey – Machine
Genre: Alternative
Sub-Genre: Indie Rock
Reflected Emotion: Intensity
Good Luck Audrey is an all-female alternative rock band based in Central Florida. Formed in early 2016, the band has been praised for its deep lyrical content and unique alternative sound. Machine is about how society forces everyone to be a certain way, act a certain way and to follow a set of rules. Essentially, they expect us to be machines and to do what they program us to do — but we’re not going to comply, we’re going to think for ourselves and be who we want to be.

Your Screaming Silence- You don’t Care
Genre: Metal/ post-hardcore
Your Screaming Silence is a metal band from Moscow, Russia, founded in September 2016. The main distinctive feature of the band’s music is an unusual combination of heavy guitar riffs and uniquely beautiful female vocal that will lead you through the darkest corners of your soul where your screaming silence is hided and will help you find the way out. The song “You Don’t Care” is about a misfit who survives through humiliation and mockeries.

Coming up on Behind The Music..

Purusa – Soundtrack
Genre – Rock / Alternative rock
The band was very popular in the Pacific Northwest between 2000-2004, selling thousands of CD’s, touring throughout the West Coast and playing with national acts such as Joe Bonamassa, Dada, Chris Whitley and Glen Phillips. They reunited in 2014 after a 10 year breakup, scored a minor FMQB chart hit in early 2016 with ‘Breaking Down, and released a new EP ‘Soundtrack’ later that year that has found some traction on college radio this spring. The band’s sound is rock at its core with a blues influence in the guitar, soul influence in the vocals, with a songwriting style of pop/rock. Kings of Leon, Counting Crows, and Toad the Wet Sprocket are all apt comparisons.

Liviu Berghian- Even Me (Contemporary Christian/Gospel Blues) Inspirational
Singer/Songwriter Liviu Berghian was born and raised in Transylvania, Romania. For real! He moved to the U.S. 16 years ago to study music! “Even Me” comes from a place of strength and reassuring confidence in the goodness and the love of God. So… it is a gospel song with a swag. “I a world of confusion and chaos, I have concluded that GOD’S LOVE and passion for me is the only reality worth pursuing”.

The States – The City

If there’s such a thing as “arena Indie” then The States are definitely in that bracket. Big Drums, Soaring guitars and emotional vocals and lyrics is just the start of describing these guys. A big room sound that many modern bands lack. Their debut EP, Cathedral, defies their young age with a sound that’s well beyond their age

F.C. Westcott – Someone Else’s Arms
Genre: Country/ Americana or Singer/Songwriter
Someone Else’s Arms in an uptempo, melodic ballad, written and performed by veteran songwriter FC Westcott.
From the poignant dark story of “I’ll Never Come Back” to the light hearted hook of the catchy “That’ll Get Me Home”, FC Westcott consistently blurs boundaries! But make no mistake, this is straight ahead Americana Country: not pretentious, not too eclectic but always heartfelt! His recent release “Unfeigned” has 11 solid cuts and with every spin another layer peels away, leaving the listener with a new favorite. The country rockers writing chops keep the album fresh and each track stands on it’s own. There is depth and intelligence but somehow he wraps every song in a familiar, approachable package.
