Today’s Featured Artists:

Tyler Colt – Come Home
is a song about not wanting to give up on a relationship. You think you could be in love but the other person has been hurt before. They don’t want to let you in. You see the signs and yet you continue to look for a glimpse of hope to make it work, to break down that wall. If they could just give you a chance. The Music Video – This song cranks up the beat. It’s more of an anthem type song. I didn’t want it to be depressing and dark. That’s why I thought why not make a music video about a Superhero that keeps getting saved by this Supergirl.
He’s trying to do his best to make the world a better place, he’s just not strong enough sometimes against the forces of evil. But he’s got this “guardian angel” if you will watching over him, helping him out. Most times she disappears before he comes to. Finally he sees her and wonders “who are you”, just as she flies off. At the end we see him walking with his girlfriend to go out. It’s at that moment that our Supergirl is revealed.

L.A Davis – Set me on fire
A London-based soul, funk & pop band, made up of 5 fun-loving, motivated and talented performers. Winner of Best Unsigned Pop Act, Live and Unsigned 2010, the band was signed to the Spectra Music Group in 2014. This multinational group has created its own unique sound, embodying elements of different genres and taking inspiration from modern artists including Bruno Mars, Maroon 5 & Mark Ronson, as well as classic R&B legends such as Stevie Wonder and Gladys Knight and the Pips. This band has proved time and again to be a force to be reckoned with within alive setting. ‘Set me on Fire’ was born out of that funny feeling you get when you meet someone for the first time and can’t stop thinking about them, the butterflies you hold within and the bursting feeling you get about wanting to see them again.

Jake Christian – Answers
Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. I have a passion for music, I started writing songs as soon as I could write. My first words were in the form of a song…”Back in Bwwwack”, that’s what my mom told me, anyway. I Have played shows at Festivals since I was seven when I was asked to sing the National Anthem in front of 2500 people, at a Balloon Race Festival. That was my first time on TV, also. I was really bitten by the music bug then! I loved it! After that’ I did every Street Fair, and Talent Show possible. I even played “Brain Stew” by Green Day, at my junior high Talent Show and had to do it alone, because my friend, the supposed drummer, got stage fright! I got a standing ovation and 2nd place.Fast-Forward to 2010. I went to Nashville, courtesy of my parents, with my Original songs, took them and me to Sound Stage Studios and recorded my first album called “Here Comes Trouble, Baby” with Jason Aldean’s Band. (My Mom has a few friends in the biz, as she was also) I was 14 when my 1st Album came out . You should check out the lyrics on THAT one.! I wrote “Answers” because I felt like most people do, I had more questions than ANSWERS. I hope this entire Album, “Bittersweet Clarity”, (the last five years of my life) will help a lot of my fans that are going through similar things, find their Answers. The Album is available on iTunes,Spotify, Rhapsody, CD Baby and most other digital outlets. I have 20 FREE DOWNLOAD Cards to give away to whoever gets in touch with you first and wants them.

Zak Fleisher- Green Girl
the 22 year old Australian, multi-instrumental singer-songwriter is no stranger to the music scene. Since picking up the guitar at age 7, there has been no looking back for Zak. In 2016, after leaving the 9-5 grind of a large corporate accounting firm, Zak has ventured to unfamiliar solo territory, pursuing his dream of music in the northern hemisphere. With influences like Mac Demarco, The Black Keys and Muse, Zak is an artist not to be missed. His new song “Green Girl” tells the story of leaving summer camp and having the prospect of not being able to enter the United States again. Along with this, “Green Girl” is also a direct message to his girlfriend to not stay in something she hates and to follow her heart, not what others tell her to do.

Silversnake Michelle – Dead End
Dead End is a song included in HER SNAKENESS, the new album of SILVERSNAKE MICHELLE, an Italian songwriter. The dominant theme of album is the Time. Lives, stories and dreams are intertwined and I lose sense of reality. “Dead End” represent a life failure. Time is so fast that it looks like a spin-cycle and everything is confused. While I’m looking for the invisible inside myself, the world doesn’t seem to care about me and my being. Even the world doesn’t seem to care of itself. No one listen to what happens into others, no one listen to himself.

The Pondhawks- Bitter Game
an unsigned indie band from Chicago who formed in 2007 and have since captured a worldwide audience with catchy melodies and a pioneering approach to music. Some may call it retro-rock with a now sound, but the band’s unique signature style falls into its own category. Musically driven by poetic lyricism that is clever and prolific, the band sends a message to its listeners. The PondHawks have an artistry for storytelling, which evolves through meticulously crafted passages that create atmosphere and mood. Instruments are carefully selected to drive the melody and the emotional power of the song.

Danielle Lyndsay- Lie to me
Singer, songwriter, and dancer Danielle Lyndsay, a D.C. native is a musical prodigy bred from birth. Her father, a popular District of Columbia vocalist taught her at an early age the importance of stage presence and owning the spotlight by commanding the audience’s attention with the drop of the first beat until the last vocal is sung. Her fiery approach to song structure and raw movement through her extensive dance training is possessive in nature, making her a musical force to be reckoned with.

Ghost the producer  – Crushin (feat. Sky Styles)
I originally created the song for another artist but the artist wanted a different direction. With that in play I began working on it as a single before my new summer album “To Be Continued…” gets released. Heart On My Sleeve is a song with falling in love with ease in mind. To always be vulnerable to love so to speak. Love is powerful but also disheartening at times because it can’t take you to a dark place as well as the antithesis. When Self wrote it he brought my vision into fruition with outstanding results.

John Cox – Never Be the Same
is an upbeat acoustic pop/folk/rock song meant to be inspiring and also uplifting.  The feel was inspired by improvising some chords to a drum looper. I recorded and played all the instruments at home. The song is about a realization that we don’t have to walk alone-we can call on Jesus name. The song concerns a change of heart- a bitter, broken heart is exchanged for joy, peace and hope.  The song also concerns being grateful for being forgiven-Amazing Grace….
