I come from a musical family.
My mom sings and plays the violin and piano; My dad (passed in 2011) played the clarinet and sang; My older brother plays guitar and sings; I started taking guitar lessons at the age of eight but then a switched to the piano at the age of thirteen – and have been playing keyboards ever since.

Relax And Take It Slow…
Basically it’s about the world –nuclear radiation; industry; politics; our purpose for human life as a society; where are we heading? why are we destroying our planet? “there’s more than one path to go” — “Relax And Take It Slow” — “there’s more than one path to show” — “Relax And Take It Slow”

It was written because I am angry about our society…
how blind people are to the truth — we are being conditioned and our minds are being re-programmed through all forms of electronic media — where there is power, there is evil, and where there is evil, there is chaos…

My album is different
the songs are more in the category of classic rock — the sound is live and not over-produced — the only effects used is reverb — no Auto-tune; hardly any compression; and none of all the crazy devices to make you sound like everyone else – which nowadays makes your sound robotic, homogenized; no personality in your vocals; etc…

I live just outside Phoenix, AZ.
I don’t follow the music scene because I’m too busy writing. I’ve had to stop performing because I’m working on a movie titled “Courage Sings.” It’s a faith-based romantic drama based on a true story — the story of my life. Right now I’m writing and recording the score. The intro of “Relax And Take It Slow” is in the opening scene of the movie.

I like to “relax and take it slow”…
and take my boat out to Lake Pleasant and go fishing — this helps take my mind off of every creative idea I have in my head…boating and fishing…

Music business is terrible…
Every song and singer sounds the same — especially in Pop, Country, and (C)Rap! Will Rap ever die?

I have experienced every high and low in this business —
you need to just do what you do and believe in yourself — but you have to have talent — if you can’t sing and then they put you through that little black box and now all of a sudden you sound good — hello? That’s not going to help — because when you get out there live and they left the little black box in the studio, you’re going to fall flat on your face and you’re done…

I have never released a single…
I prefer to release albums. However, my love song titled “Only Time” is the featured song in my movie. So, I guess you can say that would be the “single” from the movie…

My marketing strategy is…
to have as much exposure as possible — and stations like A.V.A Live Radio own helps…

Social Media…
If I was not a musician, author, or screenwriter, I probably would not even bother with social media. But since I am all of these three, it’s all about exposure…

I have re-dedicated my music, my work, and my life to Jesus Christ.
He is the only answer. Once you rededicate your life to Jesus, everything changes — because He changes you — you become a piece of clay, and then you’re re-shaped and re-molded into a new person! This is what happened to me. For six months I was broken down and molded into a new person. And I was given the gift of compassion. The compassion of Jesus Christ. This is what my movie is all about. And most of the songs I’ve written and recorded that are on Reverbnation will be heard throughout the movie (or at least parts of these songs). The score is new and won’t be released till the movie is out.

Well, you need to know how to write a good song —
with an intro, verse, chorus (hook), verse, chorus, bridge, chorus, ending — with great lyrics — and then record it as best you can. But you’ve got to get away from all the electronic gimmicks! Take your best musicians into the studio and lay it down!

My favorite music quote or inspirational quote is…
“What you do in life comes back to you” because “we are judged by our fruits…”
