I was always drawn to music…
from an early age. My Mother and Grandfather were and still are great vocalists in the tradition of Frank Sinatra and Liza Minnelli. I was brought up exposed to all genres of music. When I was 13 I found The Song Remains the Same Live Led Zeppelin double disc cd over my aunts house. I played it and was immediately drawn back to listening to Stairway to Heaven and the rest over and over until I picked up a guitar, basically played everyday, and have been playing ever since.

Who Stops…
It’s hard to say exactly what “Who Stops” is about because when I write a song, I don’t sit down and say ok I’m going to write about any particular subject matter. It usually begins with a riff or feeling on the guitar and then the words start coming out and they could be influenced by something from the past or a current event that I may have experienced. It was written and recorded in my home studio and if I should say it’s about anything it would be about pushing on to do what you love despite what other people think as with me, music is my outlet and passion. By the way, I just got married and the Ball and Chain line in the song is not about that*:)) laughing

Some of the songs on Opia…
were written some years back and some were written within the past year, “Who Stops” within the past 6 months. I’m proud of every song on there because every song captures a real essence of what was going on at the time the song was conceived. I would like to reach as many people as possible by playing live or where ever our music gets broadcasted. The new album “Opia” will be available on iTunes, Amazon (on demand), and other online digital stores. I will be promoting on twitter, facebook, jango, youtube. We have just been selected for Album Release Listing by Pauseandplay.com.

Manchester, Connecticut…
Not too big of a music scene around here going by what a lot of people say. There are some cool venues around the state Toad’s Place being one of them.

I like hiking and cruising down the beach.

Music business…
I like to stay focused more on the enjoyment of making music rather than the business aspect of it and freedom to make music without worrying about what’s trendy or fitting in.

Social media…
I been through a lot of changes through this journey of music that got me to this place in time, but I believe things have happened the way they did to get me to this place so I guess it’s fate.

Singles vs. an album…
I could see releasing singles in the near future for reasons that I have a back log of songs to record and I’m still writing when inspiration strikes. I may be able to build the hype more with one big hit.

I would like to have 5 minutes alone with…
Dave Grohl. I always thought that he is a great drummer and musician from the time I discovered and loved Nirvana in my teens to the Foo Fighters. He seems like a really cool down to earth guy and I always imagined playing in a band with a drummer of his caliber.

I don’t keep up sometimes with what is currently going on with music trends…
but still catch up with what’s going on. I try to keep up with creating my own music and not worrying about what is trendy right now or what people are going to think about a song I wrote as long as it feels right and has that certain something that makes me feel and like playing it.

I am most afraid of…
Losing the passion for making music over the business aspect of it.

My personal definition for success is… Being happy with what I do.

I’m most proud of…
Finding my partner and fellow band member and having a two and a half year old son that seems to love music as much as his parents do. We met through playing music and have been having a good time making music ever since.

My overall goal for my life and career is…
To hopefully make a comfortable living doing what I love.

3 ways that I challenge myself and how each one moves me forward towards my goal.
1} If one door closes look for another to open.
2} Search for ways to reach people and radio on the internet.
3}To start from square one and reach out as far as I can one step or leap at a time. Having faith.
