Song name: Gravity
Music Genre : Hip Hop
Gravity is a song about the feeling I had, that I can’t be kept down, while making the My Gallery EP. It was around the time I was choosing whether or not I should really pursue a music career. I had just taken a group of nearly 20 songs to a producer in a studio so I could get some feedback and see whether or not I even had a chance to make it in the industry. I came out of that meeting feeling very confident and excited and ended up writing the song Gravity based off of that feeling.

Currently, I have a summer series getting ready to start for Soundcloud and YouTube called J-Mix Mondays. The series will feature remixes to popular rap songs today. In November, I also have an album planned called 90’s In November which will be a lot of summer vibe/summer heat type of songs for the winter.

I live in Santa Barbara, California..
In my city, there is a ton of talent. You would never notice it at first glance, but a lot of the people you just see on the street, have some musical talent to them. Some might just play an instrument, while others will be in a band. I never noticed it until I had started diving into the music industry.

Music business …
The music business is difficult and very taxing on the mind. When you are starting out and putting your heart and soul on every track and releasing songs only to have a couple plays, gets very discouraging. The ups and downs in this business can be crazy. The biggest pro I have found, also happens to be a big con. You find out who really supports you and who just wants a free ride. There’s a lot of good to knowing, but sometimes I wish I never had to find out.

I would love to have 5 minutes alone with SuperDuperKyle. He’s an artist from the same area code as me, who’s art I really enjoy. I love that his overall message is basically to spread love, which is what I feel like I do as well. I think that he and I could really chop it up and make some great music together.
