Music Genre: rock/pop/folk
Comeback was written one summer away from college where I had time to finally work on my music. I wrote it because I had set my music aside for too long because I thought I wanted to pursue a career in Biology, which in the long run I went back to pursuing my music. The song speaks about not giving up on a dream no matter the circumstance.

The album is going to be called ‘Ghost In The Mirror’…
which is based on facing your past and all of the that you are in a different stage of life. It’s about not letting tragic memories control you and cause you constant pain but realizing that these things may happen but there they do not define your life now, so you can either linger and never move out of the abandoned house, another song of mine that will soon be apart of the album, or you can move away from it and do things that give you joy.

The music scene where I live now does not have a lot of opportunity. Most of the music taste here consists of country and bluegrass. Charlottesville and Richmond which are a little ways from where I am have a much better music scene with a lot more open mics and a taste of folk/rock which is close to my genre. In the town of Staunton that is close to me, there is one open mic while in Harrisonburg and Waynesboro, about thirty minutes away have one open mic as well. I would like to eventually move somewhere to where there is more opportunities for me to perform and connect with other artists.

Music business..
I treat music as my second job. I book all my own shows, connect with other artists whenever I can, and set up my own recording dates with good friends of mine which saves a ton of money. It’s all about connections, hard work and patience. People really don’t realize how hard it is to be an independent artist. It takes so much of your time and energy and having to work another job on top of it just to provide for yourself really can be hard. A lot of the money you make is going to be at gigs and from merchandise, and then most of that money goes towards buying merchandise to sell, recording and traveling.

I would love to have 5 minutes alone with….
I would love to have five minutes with Hayley Williams from Paramore. She has been my biggest inspiration since I was thirteen. Her voice and music is just incredible. She is always just full of positive energy. She never slowed down once when I saw her in concert and was just wailing those high notes while running and jumping across the stage. You can always feel the passion and emotion in her voice and I want my audience to feel the same about my music.
