Creating music brings me peace and puts me in a happy place that I never want to leave. My music reminds me that everything thing is going to be alright. Like every day is a brand new day and every song is an opportunity, dream, goal, etc.

“Count It” is about working hard and doing you! It’s about putting that extra effort in everyday all day of the season and securing the bag so next season it’s all play. Also not caring about what others say. Doesn’t matter what you are doing someone is always going to have something to say, good or bad. So it’s turning the negativity, criticism, and the hate into motivation to dream big and grind hard so there is no limit what one can do. It encourages listeners to just dance and feel good.

My music is inspirational and motivational, its an expression on how I live/view my life and  how I want to live my life. Creating music brings me peace and puts me in a happy place that I never want to leave. My music reminds me that everything thing is going to be alright. Like every day is a brand new day and every song is an opportunity, dream, goal, etc.
My current direction is about sharing my passion (my music) and having people relate to scenarios in my life and have similar experiences and see how I over come them. This release represents not caring about being different, working hard to play even harder later, and not let anyone get in my way of what I love doing.

I create a great percentage of my music at home drowning out a room with beats I’ve found. Just me in the comfort of my own home doing what I love and just letting the beat fill the room and pour the lyrics on my note pad.

Another way is just roaming around LA with my headphones in playing a beat. I just let the lyrics come to me. Then I go to the studio and bring every thing together. After, I create a rough draft I change it in the studio or take the rough draft home and work on it back at home and go back to the studio repeat until I feel it’s perfect.
I stay focused just by trying to surround myself with positive energy and go getters/goal achievers. I enjoy being around people that motivate me to hit the ground running. For me to balance creating with life is kinda the easy part, when I’m creating my music it is like I put the world on pause. I have no setbacks, no distractions, just me and my music.

Yes life is like a big obstacle course I may get off course sometimes but I always find my way back. Music is my life and without music I would have no life.

The piece of music advice that changed my way of thinking came from Jay-Z.  Jay-Z said, “I’m not a business man, I’m a business man.” Which in this 1 line he is stating that there is more to music then just making it. You need an understanding of all the outlets you can do in the music industry. Being good at making music and being good at marketing and branding your music are two different things.

I live in live in Los Angeles, California I originated from Long Island, New York. The music scene in LA is very competitive and every one here is so skilled and talented in their own way. I am very happy to be apart of the the music scene here.
