As a musician and artist, you have to be unique especially in the hip hop genre. Do not try and do what anyone else does. Do not rely on anybody else. Rely on yourself, because you will only be let down. So I have trained myself, done my research on the music industry to be able to do most things myself.

Song name: Body on Me
 Music Genre:: Pop, edm. rap
This song is about lusting after a partner while the romance is still hot. 🙂 My music is a blend of pop music inspired by Caribbean roots, reggae, afro beats, reggaeton, dancehall and edm. I write music that I like. Music that makes people dance or feel a specific emotion. I try not to follow what other people do. I like to have my own sound. People often say I have a unique voice, whether you like my sound or not you know that it is me.

 I create my music in my bedroom. The vision, the lyrics and then the overall sound. I will then take that vision into a studio with an engineer. This is my favorite place to be. My second home.

This release is definitely more the style that I want to continue in….
This is inspired by the sounds of Major Lazer with a pop/edm twist. I think this track has a strong chorus and has had a lot of good feedback to date. So hopefully this is the most commercial sound that will introduce me to a broader audience. Due to my dance background in hiphop, belly dance, and dancehall, this song blends all the styles together.

Staying focused…
I am also a video editor, so this allows me to stay up to date and relate to the current market. I have a very supportive family so they help me to stay focused.
Best Advise…
Do not try and do what anyone else does. Do not rely on anybody else. Rely on yourself, because you will only be let down. So I have trained myself, done my research on the music industry to be able to do most things myself. I have had to deal with many issues in the industry as a female artist. But all this does is make you more experienced and more striving to succeed.

There are so many fraudsters out there, but I guess you have to go through many doors, get many slammed in your face, before you get to the right one. But this teaches you to remain strong. Being thick skinned in this industry is very important.

I live in: I live in London, The music scene is focused on grime. I am not really this artist. So my style of music is not really well supported in the Uk. However, I do have a larger following in the Caribbean and America.
