The technology available to a musician today is amazing. I built up my own studio at home and since I am the whole band, I just needed enough room and new gear to make it happen. I spend many hours in the studio practicing learning and creating and collaborating. Usually I’m an early bird and I work mainly at night which has afforded me time to create my first album. It’s a really exciting moment for me as a musician.

commotion about life ..
My music is…
full of energy. This is my first solo and self titled 8 track album. I am working on new music and collaborating with a fellow vocalist there is always an element of surprise.
Since I moved to Pittsburgh, my main concern has been how I will get my self up and going to create music again. The technology available to a musician today is amazing. I built up my own studio at home and since I am the whole band, I just needed enough room and new gear to make it happen. From my custom Ibanez guitars and 2 of my favorite LesPauls a tama drum GK amps and Marshall.. My world of heaven ..

How do you stay focused and balance creating with life..
Well I can say I have been blessed through out the years music has been and still is a big part of my life I just go with the flow. I spend many hours in the studio practicing learning and creating and collaborating. Usually I’m an early bird and I work mainly at night. I don’t watch much tv but I will catch a good movie or a good night at the restaurant enjoy time with family ..
What piece of music advice forever changed your way of thinking?
The day I met Randy Rhoads. You have always the tendencies to learn and play like your heroes until someone tells you that you don’t want to sound like every other artist in the scene and to become a great guitarist is to “be your self”.
I live in…
Since I moved from Montreal to Pittsburgh.
Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, recording artist and multi-instrumentalist PETER GRAIGS is a force to be reckoned with while on the fretboard of any guitar in his hands. Growing up in Canada and now re-located to Pittsburgh, Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, recording artist and multi-instrumentalist PETER GRAIGS is a force to be reckoned with while on the fretboard of any guitar in his hands.
Growing up in Canada and now re-located to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Peter Graigs grew up listening to the music that drove the 80͛s: Rock, Progressive Rock, Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. His musical heroes include iconic guitarists Randy Rhoads, Eric Clapton, Al Di Meola and legendary drummer Tommy Aldridge. Like many other rockers, he also listens to the occasional Classical piece for inspiration. Peter Graigs has had years of live concert performance experience and recording sessions with such bands as Wired, Sillian, Trax, G13 Band and Scars of Grace.
He immersed himself in music early on and expertly mastered playing guitar, bass and drums. Unfortunately, his career in music had to take a back seat, as he was sidelined for a decade following a traumatic parachute accident. Throughout his career, Peter Graigs has performed on television programs as well as live concerts throughout North America at prestigious venues such as Spectrum de Montreal (audience 2,500), Cote de Neige (audience 10,000) and Auditorium de Verdun (audience 15,000). His new album ͞The Beginning of the End is his latest creation and one which is not to be missed.
