The song is about taking hold of your life, realizing your living on borrowed time and going after your dreams. Your never too old to be what you could have been. Your never too old to have dreams, to chase dreams, and to make them happen. We all grew up being told we could be whatever we wanted to when we grew up, that we could be do whatever we put our minds to. That doesn’t change, the level of difficulty may fluctuate with various challenges at different points in your life, but the reality is we are all masters of our own fate, and can accomplish anything if we work hard enough.
Heavy metal, influenced by the music we grew up listening to, the music we fell in love with, about life today, and the life experiences we’ve had to get us to this point. The album as a whole contains many different feelings in the music, there is a sound for everyone’s ear on here.

How do you think this release represents your current direction..
The direction is life. I fell in love with music and metal as a young boy, single digit young, and music has always been a staple in my life. I wanted to pay homage to all those influences and create a new sound with roots within those influences for people who like myself still want some new kick ass metal, but don’t necessarily want it all to be about death, hate, anger, and rage anymore. Were still the same metalheads, but we’ve done a whole lot of living since we were pissed off youths, and we want to create music that reflects that aspect of life now.
Where do you create your music?
We have a rehearsal space in Flemington NJ, and we create pretty much within our group as a whole. Its normally one of the guys taking off with an idea a little bit, and then the other guys will piece in and jam a little while. If its got substance we roll with it, and usually at that point Kevin comes in next practice with the whole root laid out and we build it from there. Lyrics wise I normally go after them once there structured, I have a list of ideas, probably another 2 albums worth and I’m always adding, that I want to write songs about. So I listen to the music, and see what idea feels best with the soul of the song.
How do you stay focused and balance creating with life..
Writing music is a huge part of what keeps me focused and balanced in life. It’s something that is necessary for my existence. Life is what I use to inspire my creative process, so it all really works harmoniously for me.
What piece of music advice forever changed your way of thinking?
Don’t stop. A friend and fellow front-man Frank “Phobia” Fields once said to me years ago, once you start, don’t stop. Stay in it, on it, always be reaching out to somebody, making a connection, building your network. Not to the extent of “always be selling” or anything like that, be yourself, be genuine, and be who you want to be.
I live in…
Jersey baby, actually where we are directly the scene is a little rough, but were in a good spot, 1 hour to NYC, 1.5 Hrs to Philly, Jersey shore is always good, Allentown PA area is less then an hour away too.
