The Buddhist song which talks about how we are at the mercy of our untrained mind

Indie artist Jack Stafford from Santa Maria di Castellabate, Italy launched a new single that’s creating some chatter.

Background Worry is a Buddhist song which talks about how we are at the mercy of our untrained mind. The mind is working all the time and you are listening to everything it tells you without questioning it for a moment. You have given it complete freedom and have made no effort to train it. The fundamental mistake you’re making is that you don’t view the mind as being separate from yourself. From this one misjudgment, all your problems arise.

The music we are creating is part of a series of self-help songs designed to help you become the Master of your own mind.

The lyrics are about how we worry our way through life, so the videos are ordered by age.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic my plans to film a music video had to be canceled. Instead of just filming myself at home, I asked friends and fans to send me videos of themselves singing the song. The response was overwhelming, with over 90 videos from 35 countries. Thank you so much to everyone!
